Mazda Launches a New Facebook App

Mazda is joining the popularity of Facebook applications and games like FarmVille with their all new MAZDA2 inspired game, DriverVille.

DriverVille takes from the concept of Farmvilles's personalization and adds you as the driver of an all new MAZDA2 compact car. The promotional game features a series of tasks allowing you to race your friends. If you finish these tasks, you get a MAZDA2 - when you win against your friends, you get upgrades to the vehicle.

The all new 2011 MAZDA2 starts at a price of $13,980, and will pack a small 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. Even with 100 horsepower, the small car will get about 28/35 mpg city/highway.

Move up to the Touring trim, and you will pay $15,435 for the manual and $16,235 for the automatic. Added to the standard equipment includes 15-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, upgraded cloth seats, fog lights, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, six-speaker CD stereo and a rear spoiler.

The MAZDA2 will be offered in six colors: black, silver, green, red, blue and a special white that will add an extra $200 to your MSRP.
