Six Million Dollar Man Treatment for the New Mazda CX-5

According to the 1970s hit television series The Six Million Dollar Man, Steve Austin was the world's first bionic man. Mazda is taking a note from the TV show and is launching a new advertising campaign for the all-new 2013 Mazda CX-5 called "Better. Stronger. Smarter." to highlight the new and improved features on the crossover SUV.

A 60-second commercial, followed by three 30-second ads will highlight the CX-5 using a 1970s theme and music to show how Mazda made its most popular SUV better, stronger and smarter with its cutting edge SKYACTIV technology. The new CX-5 is loaded with new features like push-button start, and has earned an IIHS 'Top Safety Pick', along with having the highest highway fuel economy than any SUV sold in North America, and that includes hybrids.

The new 2013 Mazda CX-5 has a starting price of just $20,695 MSRP.

"The emphasis on science and technology throughout the campaign helps us tell the story to consumers in a different but relatable way. Essentially, it's science fiction without the fiction," says Harvey Marco, chief creative officer of The Garage/Team Mazda.

To check out the ad for yourself, visit the Mazda YouTube page, at Twin City Mazda is conveniently located at 3076 Airport Highway, Alcoa, TN and, we are more than happy to discuss Mazda technology, as well as compare models and arrange test drives.
